INTERSHIPS 2014

Pinta Art Show seeks interns for temporary internship positions during the art show that will take place from 12-15 June at Earls Court, London.

Pinta Internship Programme provides interns an in-depth exposure to the overall organisation of an art fair. Working under the supervision of the Fair Manager, interns gain insight and learn about various activities and programmes for visitors. Internships are based on the Fair needs and requirements and are assigned to interns with the appropriate skills and interests.

Applicants should possess excellent verbal communication skills in English and knowledge of Spanish would be appreciated. He/she should have a professional appearance and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be reliable and punctual and prepared to commit to full attendance for the entire length of the internship.

Ideal candidates will be detail oriented. Art History or Fine Arts background and knowledge of modern and contemporary art are preferred.

The internship will run from Tuesday 10 June through Sunday 15 June. All internships are unpaid, but daily stipends are provided.

Please, note: Pinta London does not provide accommodation, travel fees and/or visa sponsorship.

Internships:

1) Exhibitor and Visitor Support Internship
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist with general administrative tasks at the ticket counter, such as filing, assembling and replenishing of press kits, and VIP listings.
* Assist attendants at the VIP Lounge and Auditorium.
* Assist Fair Directors and Floor Managers.

2) Production Staff Internship
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist with general production tasks, such as receiving artworks, banners, and furniture.
* Assist exhibitors and sponsors.
* Assist Fair Directors and Floor Managers.

3) Press, Communication and Social Media Internship
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist PR Manager with press releases and press communications.
* Assist international reporters and journalists.
* Update several times a day our Social Media pages, working closely with the Photography and Video Department.
* Organise and maintain the Press Room in proper order.

4) Photography and Video Internship
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist Photographer in various tasks.
* Assist international reporters and journalists.
* Organize photographs per event and communicate with our Website Designer.
* Edit short videos for our social media pages.

5) Architecture Department Internship
Responsibilities will include:
* Assist Fair Architect.
* Act as a liaison between the Architect and exhibitors.
* Act as a liaison between the Architect and building constructors.
